I have to agree. I loved Candy Cigarettes when I was little (about 15-16 years ago), but nowadays using Hanna Barberra’s (s/p?), Stan Lee’s, and Looney Toon characters? That’s just way overdone. Very tacky and risque! These people DO need the rubber stamp, Mike! OMG, Popeye smokes from a corn husk pipe, NOT a cigarette! STUPID! Seriously capitalism is making corporations do stupid things just to make that extra billion for their X-Mas bonus. This has got to stop.

Those in Denmark is bubble gum with paper around it, that looks like there is coming smoke out of it, when you blow.
The ice-cream man sells them in Germantown, Md STILL. Old packagine and the pink tips. hehehhe

i remember buying packs with marvel charecters on them.
the candy was awful, it tasted bland and was dissipointing, but the pacts were still cool.
I am not sure many kids would get the association, but one must admit these “sticks” don’t look much like any other candy and the cartoon character association is strange. You’re right, licensing companies seem like they would do about anything for the right dollar figure. How about “Disney’s Tarzan” on Trojan boxes??
The canndy stix with all the diffrent characters have been around for years and years…I dont think thier gonna trouble for it now.
They actually taste diffrent from the ones that were in the fake cigarette boxes and like mentioned below some used to have pink tips.
I used to get those all the time as a kid…thier cool but Id never smoke a real one.

wen i was a kid (1-5) ther was choclate cigarets and the cool kids smokde them…well u mebe wunder whats so speciel? well this was in sweden yer 2000 and i am only 12! i men ***!? burn MCdonalds!!! (not burgerking).

evn in australia we used to hav the candy cigarettes .. myy mum used to buy them for me all the time .. sorta miss them actually .. but i guess it is a bad influence. I dont smoke my self [im only 13] but i see heaps of kids my age doing stuff like smoking on the streets *shakes head in disapproval*

This is old, OLD news. Like, you’re quite a few years late on that. They started selling candy cigarettes with cartoon characters on top for ages. I remember as far back as my memory goes that I used to eat those Popeye’s and Spiderman candy cigarettes.
